The group not only includes practical compliance tools and regular analysis, but it also develops meaningful peer-built content based on tangible experience, which Provana will make available to subscribers though its own compliance management platform. “We look forward to taking an active part in the forums managed by The iA Institute,” said Britney Schaeffer, Director of Content Programs at Provana. “Provana has a rich heritage of thought leadership in solving compliance and performance issues for credit & collections businesses. A thoughtful collaboration between two leading content and tech providers will help our industry raise the game for everyone involved.” About The iA Institute The iA Institute is a media company that specializes in providing context, insight, and practical information to the complex debt industry. Senior leaders at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos revamp approach to increasing incomes for smallholder farming families

IDH, the Sustainable Trade Initiative

Equitable distribution of value and risk represents an opportunity for business to not only improve livelihoods among smallholder farming households, but ensure reliable, resilient supply chains. Today, a group of senior leaders from business, governments, civil society, and financial institutions gathered at a side event to the World Economic Forum in Davos to explore ways to overcome barriers and enable more efficient value distribution in favor of smallholder farmers. An efficient and sustainable value chain is one that assures fair distribution of value and risk. Currently, smallholder farming households often shoulder the greatest burden of risk in supply chains, from volatile prices to the effects of climate change. This burden represents a serious threat to livelihoods and market stability. The COVID pandemic and global conflict only exacerbate the problem, increasing the income gap even further. “Our goal is value chains where risk is shared, and farmers can maintain a viable business that supports a living income. For too long our market has focused on value extraction. Now we need to reorient ourselves to value creation from the first link in the supply chain all the way to the consumer,” said Daan Wensing, CEO of IDH - the Sustainable Trade Initiative, at the side event. “If we don’t train our focus across the entire supply chain, it will eventually collapse.” The side event, Accelerating Change Through a Global Coalition on Living Income, was co-hosted by IDH - the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH) and Wageningen University (WUR). Participants included Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands in her role as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA), executives from Nestlé, JBS, Unilever, Standard Chartered Bank, senior representatives from the governments of Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana and more. Her Majesty Queen Máxima emphasized that this meeting was extremely timely. As the highest risk is placed on those who can least afford it, the smallholder farmers all over the world. Financial Inclusion is not enough: ‘We should not only increase the living income of the smallholder farmer, but also build their resilience’. Facilitators challenged the group to consider how their trade systems could be overhauled to distribute risk and value more equitably in their value chains. They explored the barriers to system transformation at the individual and organizational level. This meeting is part of a longer journey, co-developed by IDH, WUR and others, to design a multi-stakeholder framework for action. This framework will inspire pathways for improvement for farmers and businesses, including concrete interventions and points of collaboration. The multi-stakeholder framework on living incomes will rely on a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities for improving incomes. The scale and scope of the problem with value distribution is so large that no single actor or intervention can fully address it. The framework can help clarify the roles and responsibilities for finding solutions that include the perspectives of a wide swath of stakeholders, from the private and public sectors to farmer representatives, the financial sector and civil society. The multi-stakeholder framework for action is part of IDH’s Living Income Roadmap, which contains a range of steps, guidance questions, and data-driven tools to help companies, governments, investors, and civil society organizations close living income gaps. The follow up of this event will take place on 14th of June, during the Living Income Summit in Amsterdam. About IDH: IDH-the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH) restores flourishing markets with better jobs, better incomes and a better environment. When IDH is successful, companies rebalance the relationships between the workers they employ, the customers they serve and the planet that serves us all. IDH achieves this by creating public-private partnerships, and by using data to design, test and invest in more sustainable ways of doing business. Headquartered in the Netherlands, IDH has over 290 employees globally, operating in 20 landscapes and 12 commodities and sourcing regions with over 1000 public and private partners. In 13 years of operation, IDH has generated over 390 M EUR in private sector investment and support for new business models that create positive impact for people and planet. IDH’s work is made possible because of the funding and trust of multiple European governments and private foundations, including the Governments of Netherlands, Denmark, and Switzerland. Grassroots Leaders ‘Ready for Ron’ Launch Draft DeSantis for President Committee

Ready for Ron

Today, grassroots leaders and political activists launched an official committee to encourage Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to run for President of the United States. ‘Ready for Ron’, led by senior strategist Ed Rollins – Reagan ’84 Campaign Chairman and Chairman of the leading pro-trump group in 2016, and appellate attorney and conservative activist Lilian Rodríguez-Baz, started a petition for DeSantis supporters to sign demonstrating the growing support for his candidacy nationwide. The online petition located at: ReadyForRon.com provides information about the Committee and encourages supporters to get involved with the movement to draft DeSantis for President. “Under President Donald Trump’s leadership, the United States enjoyed record unemployment, economic stability, and safety. Many are yearning for a return to these policies and the prosperity good leadership can bring,” stated Ed Rollins. “The era of President Trump was wonderful, but now, since he isn’t currently running, we must get ready for a new leader, we must be Ready for Ron. “We are undertaking a comprehensive campaign to draft Governor DeSantis to run for President of the United States,” explained Rodríguez-Baz. “We need his proven leadership to bring safety and prosperity back. With the current political and economic, crises, the American values that provided the courage for my mother and four-year-old me to get on a boat that we didn’t even know was seaworthy, are eroding. We risked everything to make it to the United States and refuse to see our country fail.” In addition to the draft petition, the ‘Ready for Ron’ campaign announced a significant advertising effort to attract more supporters to encourage Governor DeSantis to announce his candidacy. “We are hoping to build one of the biggest grassroots movements ever, Rodríguez-Baz continued. “The radical left is risking our future. We must change course immediately. While with the economy, inflation, crime, and erosion parental rights and the American way of life, we need confident, dependable, and proven leadership like only Ron DeSantis can deliver.” ‘Ready for Ron” has registered with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), whose regulations provide that “…a draft committee is a political committee that is established solely to draft an individual or to encourage him or her to become a candidate for federal office…” While ‘Ready for Ron’ is completely unaffiliated with the DeSantis campaign per federal regulations, it has taken the novel step of submitting a formal Advisory Opinion Request to the FEC seeking to share its supporter list with Governor DeSantis if the Draft succeeds and he announces his candidacy. “We hope the FEC will not stand in the way of political speech and freedom of association. Millions of Americans want Ron DeSantis to run. Signing their names to this draft petition is the ultimate act of political speech, and we should be able to give those names to the Governor if – and when – he heeds their call and runs.” Rodríguez-Baz said. “In the meantime, we remain completely unconnected entity dedicated to encouraging his candidacy. American needs his leadership now more than ever." ### Contact Details Ready for Ron Dan Rene +1 202-329-8357 dan@readyforron.com Company Website https://www.readyforron.com/

PROTEUS™ will feature state-of-the-art research labs for onsite experimentation, full-scale video production facility for media and continuous live stream educational programming, and a moon pool to provide researchers with seamless access to the ocean. It will also include the first underwater greenhouse and social areas, workspaces, and sleeping quarters for up to 20+ occupants. “Inspired by the work of the explorers and builders before us, PROTEUS™ will play a vital role in the conservation and understanding of our oceans, furthering ocean science, enabling exploration and establishing the human ocean connection needed to inspire future generations to protect humanity’s source of life,” commented Fabien Cousteau, Founder, Executive and Board Member at Proteus Ocean Group Ltd. “We are thrilled to partner with the DRASS Group team, who are equally invested in the future of the ocean and move another step closer to seeing our vision for PROTEUS™ come to life.” Located in richly biodiverse marine-protected water off the coast of Curaçao, PROTEUS™ aims to enable researchers, academics, government and private industries, media, and private aquanauts to spend more time at-depth, and leverage storytelling, immersive experiences, adventure, and education to bring ocean science to life for global audiences. Proteus Ocean Group is currently working alongside DRASS Group to outline the project's scope, deliverables, and schedule, to align on Founder, Board Member and aquanaut, Fabien Cousteau's final vision for the final design slated to be unveiled later this year. The installation of PROTEUS™ is anticipated to begin in 2025.
