Ann Marie Gothard Named Chair of Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance, RRG

Nonprofits Insurance Alliance (NIA) recently appointed Ann Marie Gothard as Chair of Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance, RRG (ANI).
As volunteer chair of ANI, Gothard provides leadership of a board of directors that oversees a cooperative insurance company serving more than 13,000 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations across 31 states and the District of Columbia.
“It is truly an honor to become chair of ANI, an organization so deeply committed to helping nonprofits of all sizes deliver on their mission, achieve their goals, and serve their constituents,” said Gothard.
“Nonprofits play a vital role in our communities, addressing critical social issues and providing essential services to those in need. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role, and I look forward to working with the ANI team to help build a stronger, more resilient nonprofit sector.”
She currently serves as Vice President of Global Corporate Media Relations for Henry Schein, the world’s largest provider of health care solutions to office-based dental and medical practitioners, based in Melville, NY. In her role, she leads a team responsible for all strategic media relations for the company’s corporate brand, as well as Henry Schein Cares, the company’s global corporate social responsibility program.
Ms. Gothard also serves as a board member for Pride Live, a New York-based social advocacy and community engagement organization for the LGBTQ+ community.
As part of Pride Live, she is also a co-founder of the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, the first LGBTQ+ visitor center within the National Parks System, and co-founder of Stonewall Day, a global campaign created with one purpose in mind: Preserve, advance, and celebrate the legacy of the Stonewall Rebellion.
She first became a member of the board of ANI in 2021.
