The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is proud to be one of the approved credentialing partners for the Army COOL, also known as the Credentialing Assistance program, initiated by the US Army. Eligible army personnel will receive funding from the US Army to pursue civilian credentials or certifications in their fields of interest and must attend courses offered by approved training providers.

What is Army COOL or Credentialing Assistance Program Funding?

The program helps army personnel find information on civilian certifications and credentials. These credentials and certifications can enhance army personnel skills in their current military occupational specialty or help them start a career once they leave military service. The Army COOL program also provides funding to the serving soldiers for exams and certification preparation of their choice from an approved training provider. The program offers up to $4,000 in funds per fiscal year to each soldier.

“It is an honor to participate in this program and we are committed to providing the highest quality training to the Army COOL program to ensure these American Heroes can achieve the goals they have set for themselves,” said Kraig Conrad, NCMA CEO.

NCMA offers the following certification programs and preparatory courses in the Army COOL Program.

  • CPCM
