American Rebel Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: AREB) CEO Andy Ross spoke with New To The Street’s Jane King about American Rebel’s origin and exciting upcoming plans for the company.
Ross’s lucrative career in reality TV and country music brought him to create his brand American Rebel in 2015. American Rebel is what Ross has coined “America’s Patriotic Brand.” Prior to becoming CEO, Ross spent 10 years hosting the Maximum Archery World Tour on the Outdoor Channel. He began creating music for the TV show which launched his career in country music with his brand of patriotic southern rock and country.
His song ‘American Rebel’ gained some fame and became the inspiration and mission statement for the brand. The company started out providing concealed carry products like backpacks, jackets, and handgun safes. From there, they entered the full-size safe market and have since developed into a recognizable brand. Full-size safes became the flagship product almost immediately.
The company currently has its products in approximately 400 stores nationwide and has eight company-owned stores. Ross shared that his previous careers helped him take advantage of connections and relationships that were instrumental in bringing awareness to American Rebel’s brand.
American Rebel saw expanded growth in the third quarter. Revenues rose to $4.1 million compared to $0.3 million in the previous year. The increase is largely attributed to the Champion acquisition which closed on July 29, 2022.
Ross shared that American Rebel will be at the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) Expo in Las Vegas January 17-20. The SHOT Show is the nation's largest professional event for the sport shooting, hunting, and outdoor industry. Ross stated that this is American Rebel’s “coming out party”. The company has spent the last several years building quality product lines that speak to the brand’s mission.
American Rebel will be showcasing their Champion safes, Superior safes, American Rebel safes, American Rebel 2A lockers, a new line of e-Bikes, and more. Since the SHOT Show is akin to the Superbowl of trade shows, Ross is excited to elevate American Rebel’s recognition.
Ross envisions American Rebel as America’s Patriotic Brand and becoming a lifestyle brand and a household name. He’s excited to build more product lines and expand the brand even further.
