Glass can be recycled over and over, which means it has great potential for the circular economy. Recycled glass can be reused to make new glass containers and fiberglass insulation, reducing waste. In fact, did you know Owens Corning fiberglass insulation contains 53-73% recycled glass?

The latest video from Strategic Materials, Inc. illustrates the power of the circular economy close to home. Haulin' Glass Recycling successfully collects glass at condominiums and apartment properties in the Atlanta metro area. The glass is then recycled by SMI and sent onto Owens Corning to make new fiberglass insulation - all in the state of Georgia.
