EQM Indexes senior advisor Steve Derkash joins Proactive's Natalie Stoberman to share the latest update on the HAN Solar Index. Derkash says the solar industry is getting new validation from the EU's latest stance for a more ambitious rollout on renewable energy.

The EU parliament and council have provisionally agreed to increase their renewable power targets to 42.5% by 2030, up from 32%, with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by the same date.

The Solar Energy UCITS ETF ‘TANN’ seeks to offer pure-play exposure to the rapidly growing global solar industry, tracking the EQM Global Solar Energy Index which is focused on companies that derive significant revenue from solar energy-related business operations.
