Fathom Nickel increases portfolio with more land staked at Gochager Lake

Fathom Nickel CEO Ian Fraser joined Proactive's Steve Darling to announce an expansion of the company's land position at the Gochager Lake project. Fathom Nickel has staked an additional 3,060 hectares of land, which is situated approximately three kilometres south of the site of their recent Gochager Lake exploration program.
Fraser emphasized the significance of this land acquisition, as it adds a key area to Fathom Nickel's portfolio. With this expansion, the company now possesses 13 out of the 15 high-priority targets identified in a 2008 VTEM survey. This positions Fathom Nickel to explore and evaluate a wide range of prospective areas within the Gochager Lake project.
Additionally, Fraser mentioned the flexibility provided by this land acquisition in relation to the Mal Lake nickel occurrence. A drill hole from 1967 intersected promising results, revealing 1.12% Ni and 0.24% Cu over 7.9 meters. The increased land position enhances Fathom Nickel's ability to assess and potentially exploit this nickel occurrence more effectively.
Fraser also provided an update on the company's exploration activities. Borehole electromagnetic surveys at the Gochager Lake project are expected to be completed by July 14. These surveys will generate valuable data, which will be utilized to identify and prioritize drill targets for future exploration efforts.
