IVECO Trucks Support Snow Removal in Argentina

The winter season in Argentina is about to start and roads are already impacted by low temperatures, ice, and snow.

To keep the roads clear and safe, the National Roads Authority has launched its Comprehensive Winter Maintenance Plan in Patagonia and Mendoza which includes the use of IVECO trucks, a brand of CNH Industrial. The winter maintenance plan tries to ensure that the key roads to reach provinces most affected by winter weather conditions remain open for traffic and transportation of goods and supplies.

This year a fleet of IVECO Trakker vehicles supports the National Roads Authority’s winter operations. The fleet will work on more than 7,500 km of 11 national routes belonging to Mendoza, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego. The trucks will clear the roads of snow and spread salt to prevent the formation of ice.
