Lori Shaffer, the vice president of Kimberly-Clark’s global nonwovens group, recently spoke with the Women’s CoLab about her greatest career lesson, the lightbulb moment that changed everything, and how she honed her executive presence while staying true to herself.

“Professional success and authenticity are not mutually exclusive – in fact, it’s the opposite,” she said. “I will emphasize to my two young daughters that they should never compromise who they are for any job. Being authentic makes us someone who has the ability to empower, inspire and impact people’s lives for the better.”
