‌Olympio Metals Managing Director Sean Delaney speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive London after the ASX-listed critical mineral exploration company announced the start of its maiden drilling program at the 100% owned Walloway Prospect in South Australia. The drilling is designed to test several high priority magnetic carbonatite targets defined in a recent detailed aeromagnetic survey, and Delaney says the team is now hard at work using air core rig "just basically punching some holes into each one of those targets just to narrow down the focus on where we should progress to perhaps deeper drilling." Delaney goes on to give an overview about work at the company's Cadillac Project in Quebec, where a "significant-sized pegmatite" has been identified. He outlines plans for winter drilling in Quebec, noting that the region is well equipped for year-round drilling despite the cold temperatures. He says that the company's focus is currently on both projects.
