Ondine Biomedical President and CTO Nicolas Loebel joins Natalie Stoberman from the Proactive studios to share how the latest results from its photodisinfection concept study can impact food safety in Canada and beyond.

Loebel says the results of this study produced up to a 99.999% elimination of pathogens commonly found on hard surfaces in meat processing facilities, as well as those directly located on fresh-cut chicken, beef, and pork meat.

Loebel adds these results could have direct impacts on community well-being and industry profitability by increasing consumer confidence in addition to reducing the strain on public health from food-borne illnesses.
