PSEG Welcomes 2022 Interns

As the world changes, PSEG is changing with it, adapting the way we work to support a flexible and hybrid work environment. At the same time, many of our customers are spending more time in their homes and the energy we deliver is more critical than ever.
Our ability to meet our diverse customers’ needs depends on our people – today and tomorrow. That’s why all of us at PSEG are proud to continue to foster and develop the next generation of industry leaders with our 2022 internship program.
All incoming interns are chosen from current undergrad and graduate students. We’re proud to help these students gain the skills necessary to start or further develop their careers.
Our internship program delivers a complete PSEG experience while continuing to ensure everyone’s health and safety. With our employees effectively using flexible and hybrid work, we will be using the same strategy with our interns, allowing them to be on-site and, in some cases, work from a remote location.
Interns will be able to:
- Experience the PSEG workplace culture through giving back to the community with volunteer opportunities.
- Participate in an intimate online roundtable discussion with our Chair, President and CEO Ralph Izzo.
- Take part in online seminars and discussions with company leaders and employee business resource groups.
- Immerse themselves in professional development via virtual training, resume-building opportunities and a workshop to prepare them for their future careers.
Our intern managers are equipped with the training and techniques they need to deliver an effective program for our new colleagues, and they will continue to drive hands-on, project-based assignments and opportunities to make sure every intern gets the full PSEG experience. At the end of their summer, the interns will deliver a presentation to leadership highlighting the projects they worked on and what they learned.
We’re excited to offer our 2022 internship program and warmly welcome our interns to PSEG. We look forward to seeing how they Power Progress during their stay with us.
