The Waterford Officially Breaks Ground on $205 Million Expansion and Renovation Project The Palm Beach County retirement living community provides residents with an authentic coastal living experience

The Waterford, a senior living community located in Juno Beach, Florida, officially broke ground on its $205 million dollar expansion and renovation project on Friday, January 27th. The multi-year project adds 84 new independent living apartments and 8 patio homes, in addition to expanding resident healthcare offerings to include assisted living and on-site memory care.
Prospective and current residents, their families, and local dignitaries were invited and encouraged to join The Waterford for the groundbreaking ceremony. The event was held between the Garden Apartments and Villas. There were light refreshments and a short ceremony featuring remarks from The Waterford’s Executive Director, Ky Moody, Lifespace President and CEO, Jesse Jantzen, and Juno Beach Mayor, DD Halpern.
“This groundbreaking ceremony marked the official start of The Waterford’s largest expansion to date. We’re thrilled to widen our continuum of care and further invest in our community,” said Ky Moody, Executive Director. “This project helps us to continue enriching the lives of our residents.”
