According to a study from Gartner, only 50% of employees say their leader “effectively creates visions for the future of the team. The same survey also found that only 50% of leaders believe they are well-equipped to lead their organization into the future.

“This moment in time calls for real leadership,” says Wissenbach. “As they form the strategies for their companies’ survival, leaders need to be mindful of the perception of their employees. If a firm’s employees don’t perceive leadership is effective, it will be exponentially more difficult for that firm to successfully cultivate needed change to adjust to and thrive in today’s business environment.”
