This Snack & Learn Webinar features the Water Utility Climate Risks and Opportunities Mapping Framework that WSP developed in partnership with water utilities to help them identify, assess, and prioritize their climate-related risks and opportunities.

Informed by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), this framework is an innovative, collaborative and science-based climate scenario planning approach to help water utility business function leads understand existing underlying conditions, their exposure and sensitivities to future changes in the climate (both acute shocks and chronic stressors), and how they can accelerate the mainstreaming of climate considerations into utility management. Learn how WSP tested this framework through planning, designing, and executing the first ever water utility climate risk and opportunity tabletop exercises (TTX) with Denver Water and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission in 2020, and how the utilities are taking action to enhance their resilience in 2021.
